Jiraiya is one of the three legendary sannin famous shinobi world. he mastered many very powerful jutsu and his teammates are orrochimaru and lady Tsunade. Jiraiya was one of the pupils of the third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi.
As a child, Jiraiya and Orochimaru's former teammate and Tsunade, were students of the Third Hokage. Jiraiya with his relationship with Team 7 is very similar in the future, and Jiraiya is quite similar to Naruto. After leaving the Third guidance, he traveled around the world.

Orochimaru refused, and attacked Jiraiya. While he tried to find a reason for Orochimaru's defection, Jiraiya eventually realized that his friend could not go back. Feeling that he was responsible for Orochimaru who escape, Jiraiya left Konoha so he could follow Orochimaru's movements, as well as the "Akatsuki", an organization which Orochimaru follow. Thus, Jiraiya can not satisfy the desire to become Hokage Third Hokage, Orochimaru he feels that trace the more important.
